Story: The Lion and The Rat

A lion was sleeping. A rat ran over it and woke it up. The lion was angry and was going to kill the rat. But the rat begged to save its life. Seeing the tears of the rat, the lion said he was excusing it now, but not to repeat such mistakes. The rat said it would repay for this kindness.

Then one day, the lion was caught in the net of a hunter. The rat saw it. It wanted to repay the lion for the mercy he had shown earlier. The rat went and cut the net with its sharp teeth and freed the lion. The lion was so happy and they became friends.

Moral: The story tells us that even things that we consider small and weak can be of great value to us at times of need or danger.
